Roorkee: Lovers of traditional Indian craftsmanship are in for a treat as a grand Chikankari Exhibition is set to take place at Kasaba Home in Roorkee on April 4 and 5, 2026. The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days.
The event will showcase an exclusive collection of authentic Chikankari outfits, including suits, sarees, kaftans, dresses, and co-ord sets. Known for its intricate hand embroidery and timeless elegance, Chikankari continues to be a favorite among those who appreciate fine craftsmanship and ethnic fashion.
This exhibition brings to Roorkee the legacy of Alankrit, a renowned Lucknow-based brand led by Manju Jalota. With a heritage of over three decades, the brand has been actively working towards reviving traditional Chikankari craftsmanship and supporting thousands of artisans across villages in and around Lucknow.
