Dr Madhulika Brings Laurels to Roorkee with Gold and Silver at Uttarakhand State Badminton Championship

Roorkee’s senior consultant pathologist Dr Madhulika has brought pride to the city by winning one gold medal and two silver medals at the Uttarakhand State Badminton Championship 2025–26 held recently in Haldwani. She secured the gold medal in the Women’s Doubles 65+ category and two silver medals in the 70+ age group in different events.

Earlier this year, she also achieved a remarkable milestone by winning a gold medal and securing Rank 1 in the Mixed Doubles 70+ category at the All India Ranking Badminton Tournament held in Agra from January 27 to February 1, 2026.

Dr Madhulika’s achievements serve as a powerful inspiration for both the younger generation and senior citizens. She believes in staying fit, working hard, remaining focused with a calm mind, and facing challenges with determination. According to her, victory is just a step forward in the journey of continuous growth.

Professionally, Dr Madhulika is a Senior Consultant Pathologist and has been running Hi-Tech Path Laboratory in Roorkee for the past 31 years. She previously served as a pathologist at Civil Hospital Roorkee, worked with Haemoglobinopathies DEIC, IIT Roorkee Hospital, and also served in Libya’s health services.

Apart from her medical profession, she is a trained Yoga teacher under AYUSH and an Art of Living Happiness teacher, inspired by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Her husband, Dr Sudhir Chaudhary, is a well-known senior child specialist in Roorkee. She is also a proud mother of two sons working in the United States and grandmother of four grandchildren.

Dr Madhulika is actively involved in social service as a member of Rotary Club of Roorkee Midtown and Bharat Vikas Parishad. She strongly believes in the philosophy of “Service Above Self” and is currently working on a Rotary Global Grant project promoting reusable sanitary napkins for women’s health and hygiene.

Her dedication to medicine, sports, yoga, and community service reflects a balanced and inspiring life, proving that age is no barrier to achieving excellence.
