Sheffield School celebrated the first day of its much-awaited 'ANUBHUTI 2026' – Annual Function on February 14 with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The program commenced with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by Saraswati Vandana, creating a spiritual and auspicious atmosphere. The distinguished chief guest, Er. Anil Kumar Shukla, formally inaugurated the event and appreciated the school’s consistent efforts toward experiential and value-based education.
Students from Play Group to Class Five mesmerized the audience with their colorful and energetic performances. Dressed in traditional costumes representing Uttarakhandi, Garhwali, and Rajasthani culture, the children showcased graceful folk dances and lively group performances. A special Bollywood-themed dance sequence added glamour and excitement to the evening, earning loud applause from parents and guests.
The highlight of the first day was a series of short skits delivering strong social messages. Performances focusing on women empowerment, environmental protection, and the importance of girl child education left a deep impact on the audience. The young participants confidently conveyed awareness through expressive acting and meaningful dialogues.
The school administration also presented the annual progress report, highlighting academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and teacher development initiatives undertaken during the session. The principal emphasized the importance of holistic development and experiential learning in shaping responsible future citizens.
The first day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of teachers, students, and parents. The vibrant celebrations set an inspiring tone for the second day of the annual function.
