A special wellness and stress management workshop focusing on Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda was organized at the Sainik Institute Dehradun for infantry divisions and defence personnel stationed at Dehradun Cantonment, including Gorkha, Garhwal Rifles, JAK Rifles, and other regiments.
The workshop was conducted by Yogi Dr. Amritraj, Director of Arham Retreat and Wellness and Maa Yoga Ashram. During the session, he shared valuable insights on stress reduction, mental wellness, Yoga practices, meditation techniques, and Ayurvedic lifestyle management for maintaining physical and emotional balance in demanding defence services.
The initiative was carried out with the support of the Arogyadham family, including Dr. Rakesh Chandrawal, Dr. Arjun Raj, and Yogi Dr. Amritraj, who have been continuously spreading awareness about Ayurveda and holistic wellness among defence forces and paramilitary personnel through Yoga and meditation workshops.
During the interactive session, the speakers highlighted the benefits of natural nutrition and Ayurvedic herbs such as flaxseed, black seed, foxnut (makhana), and other traditional remedies that support immunity, energy, mental peace, and overall wellbeing. The workshop also focused on disease prevention, healthy living habits, and practical methods to remain happy, healthy, and stress-free in day-to-day life.
The Arogyadham family reaffirmed its mission and vision of creating a “Disease-Free India and Disease-Free World” with the message of “Happy Healthy India, Happy Healthy World,” while continuing to promote awareness about Ayurveda, Yoga, meditation, and preventive healthcare across the nation.
