The ongoing war involving Iran, the United States, and Israel has entered a critical phase with heavy military operations continuing across the Middle East. The conflict began on 28 February 2026, when the United States and Israel launched large-scale airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, missile bases, and military infrastructure. Since then, the situation has escalated rapidly with retaliatory attacks and growing regional involvement.

According to reports, thousands of airstrikes have hit strategic targets across Iran, including military installations and oil infrastructure in Tehran. Smoke was seen rising from several industrial facilities as the strikes intensified. Iran has strongly condemned the attacks and vowed continued retaliation against U.S. and Israeli interests in the region.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has launched multiple waves of missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military bases and allied facilities in the Gulf region. Locations in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia have reported missile alerts and drone interceptions. Some attacks also damaged civilian infrastructure, including a desalination plant in Bahrain.

The war has already resulted in heavy casualties. Reports indicate that more than 1,200 people in Iran and hundreds in Lebanon have been killed since the conflict began, while several U.S. service members and civilians in other countries have also died in retaliatory strikes.

The conflict is also affecting global energy markets. Iran has threatened shipping routes near the Strait of Hormuz, a vital corridor for global oil supply, causing disruptions in tanker traffic and pushing oil prices sharply higher worldwide.

World leaders and international organizations have urged restraint and called for diplomatic negotiations to prevent the crisis from expanding into a full-scale regional war.
